It happens constantly in the Bay Area. Your lease ends before your new place is ready. Escrow closes on different dates. The apartment you are moving into needs a week. Suddenly you are managing a move-out, a storage rental, and a move-in as three separate problems with three separate vendors.
We handle it as one.
Our crew picks up your belongings on move-out day, delivers them to a trusted local storage facility, and moves everything into your new home when it is ready. You make one call, work with one team, and do not have to coordinate anything in between. We manage the storage partner and the timing on both ends.
We do not own a storage facility, and that is intentional. It means we can recommend the right local option for your situation rather than pointing you toward whatever we happen to have available. Short gap or long gap, we work with partners that fit your timeline and your location.
Every job includes a trained crew, a fully equipped truck, moving blankets, shrink wrap, tape, and crew tools at no extra charge, plus up to 2 TV boxes and 5 wardrobe boxes for use during the move. These materials stay with the crew and do not go into storage with your belongings. If you want packing supplies that remain with your items in storage, that is our paid packing service, quoted upfront.
Billing is hourly with a minimum, prorated in 15-minute increments after that. California double drive time applies as required by state regulation. A $100 non-refundable deposit holds your date and applies to the final invoice. Licensed under Cal-T201700 with full cargo and liability insurance.

We handle move-out and storage. On move-out day, the crew loads your belongings, wraps and protects everything, and delivers it to a local storage facility near your destination. Before we arrive, please fully disconnect, drain, and dry any fridges, freezers, washers, and dryers. Our crew moves the units but does not disconnect or reconnect plumbing, gas, or electrical.

We move you in when you are ready. When your new place is ready, the same crew picks up your belongings from storage and moves you in. They already know your inventory and how everything was packed. Furniture gets placed where you want it and reassembled.
Why One Team for Both Moves Makes a Difference
When people manage the two moves separately, they end up paying two minimums, coordinating two sets of travel time, and dealing with a second crew that has never seen their furniture before. The risk of damage goes up because no one has continuity across both moves. And the customer ends up being the project manager for the whole thing.

What to Know About the Storage Gap
The length of your storage gap affects which facility and setup makes the most sense. A few things worth knowing:
Short gaps of a few days to two weeks are common with lease turnovers in Oakland and Berkeley. Local storage facilities near your destination handle these well, and we coordinate the drop-off and pickup timing so the crew arrival lines up with facility access hours.
Longer gaps of several weeks to a few months are common with escrow closings and relocation timelines. These benefit from climate-controlled storage, especially for wood furniture, electronics, and anything sensitive to temperature or humidity. When we recommend a storage partner for a longer gap, we factor that in.
Items going into storage still need to be wrapped. Everything gets moving blankets and shrink wrap before it goes into the facility, not after. Furniture that sits in storage unwrapped can get scratched, dusty, or develop moisture damage over time even in a good facility.
